Alex Monroe jewellery is synonymous with British style. It is feminine yet quirky, but above all consistently wearable. Now a much loved brand around the world, each piece is individually designed and handmade in England by Alex and his team.
Alex grew up in the wilds of Suffolk in a big old house surrounded by nature. This idyllic but eccentric childhood would shape Alex’s jewellery designs for the future. His love for the natural world continues to provide an inspiration. A fondness for the eccentricities of Englishness provides a touch of humour and nostalgia. A fascination with the intricacies of making things is reflected in the superb craftsmanship of every piece..
After training at the Sir John Cass School of Art in London, Alex created his first collection in 1987. His aim was to produce excellent quality jewellery, which was originally designed, hand made and well priced. This was jewellery made to be worn and made to be loved. These values remain unchanged to this day.

The Rosarium Ring is inspired by the hedgerows of Suffolk, which bloom with wild roses in late spring, each piece is a careful and detailed study into the natural beauty found growing wild in the English countryside.
A trio of diamonds are nestled amongst entwining vines and wild rose flowers.
Crafted from solid 18ct white gold this ring has three diamonds that are 4mm GVS 0.25CT, 2.5mm GVS 0.06CT and 1.75mm 0.025CT for a total of 0.33CT.
The vines that form the fine band are approximately 1 mm wide.

Inspired by seeds gathered on a sunlit autumn walk, the Scattered Seed Ring with Three Diamonds from Alex Monroe captures nature’s quiet elegance in precious gold.
